Suzanne Hyde a licensed massage therapist in New York City with 6+ years of experience is now part of theNew York Chiropractic Life Center family of health and wellness professionals. After making the grade as aCivil Engineer, Suzanne sought a lifestyle and career change; She chose to attend the Swedish Institute inNew York City where she learned the art and science of massage and developed a solid understanding of thehuman body through classes in anatomy, physiology, myology, kinesiology, neurology, and pathology.Through her commitment and thirst for knowledge, Suzanne developed a strong foundation in western massagetechniques including Swedish, Sports, Body and Joint Mobilization, Pre-Natal, Neuro-Muscular, MyofascialRelease, and Trigger Point Therapy. Suzanne has also mastered the art of eastern massage techniques includingShiatsu.

 

Journey to Excellence
During her career as a massage therapist Ms. Hyde has traveled around the world three times on her own visiting over 30 countries and 4 continents. In this time she received training and certification in Thai massage in Thailand, Javanese massage in Indonesia, Auyervedic massage in India among many other techniques that were picked up along the way. She also spent time doing volunteer work which included Tsunami relief work in Indonesia and Sri Lanka as well as teaching English and several other projects during her many visits to Africa.
As an engineer, Suzanne learned to appreciate that a body that is aligned and relaxed is in better balance physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. A body in this state can perform at it’s best, just like a finely tuned orchestra. All of Suzanne formal education and world travels has brought her to this very special place. "I feel that no matter what your belief or background, you can always benefit from a healing touch." Suzanne’s massages are unique and special.
